Oi! I’m Aline

You might of met me in a foreign country, or on the dance floor either way you probably remember big curly hair. Or maybe we haven’t met yet, in that case I look forward to meeting you. We could grab coffee, talk about travel and culture, you name it. First of all, thank you. Thank you for being here reading this. I know your time is precious and you have a lot going on- so the fact that you’ve taken the time to look at my work it’s pretty awesome, I like you already.

I was born and raised in calm Connecticut, a contrast to my loud and bold Brazilian background. My love of color and light came easily and early. Even when I was young I’d look at a scene and think to myself, I want to remember this just as it is. Photography gave me that ability. So as I began to travel I captured the sights and smiles around. I’m passionate about emotion, love, and simple moments.

Being able to capture time in a way that brings back emotions is a concept I love. Those old family pictures where everything is wrong are the ones I love the most, because that’s what real life is about, little simple moments. Traveling and experiencing culture is something I cherish, so on my first trip to Asia I got myself a “nice” camera, you know where there’s more than one piece. Even After years of shooting weddings and families- I’m never bored or uninspired, because every moment has a story and every story deserves to be captured.
